The Northwest Arts Center is excited to announce the call for entries for the 54th Annual “INT’L Paperworks 2026” juried exhibition.
Founded in 1969 to enhance the visual arts experiences of Minot State University students, the campus and the regional art community and to build a teaching fine art collection, the exhibitions continually attract excellence in contemporary art each year. INT'L Paperworks continues to welcome artists from around the world.
Original works in any medium, on or of paper, traditional or experimental, including photographs, qualify. Work must have been completed within the last two years and not previously exhibited in an INT’L or Americas 2000 exhibition.
Juror for INT’L Paperworks 2026 is Dave DiMarchi of 9INHAND press. DiMarchi is a queer, multi-disciplinary artist working in printmaking, papermaking, and sculptural book forms. Nurturing ideas into singular and editioned works, he engages in a relentless material practice. As a multi-disciplinary artist, he has exhibited works on paper, installations, and books in the US and internationally.For nearly 16 years, he has created his own work, curated exhibitions, provided print exchange opportunities, and published fine art prints as 9INHANDPRESS, a fine art printmaking and education studio.
Entries will be judged from a high resolution digital image and up to 2 detail images. Files must be in jpg format, minimum of 300 ppi at approximately 8 x 10 inches. Name files as follows: A_titleofwork. jpg, B_titleofwork.jpg, etc. Abbreviate as needed on the file name, but use complete title on entry form. Submit images, non-refundable entry fee, and completed entry form by email or postal mail. Email images and entry form to nac@minotstateu.edu; with the subject line “INT’L Paperworks 2026 Entry.” Or mail images on labeled CD, DVD or flash storage along with fee and printed entry form to INT’L Paperworks, Northwest Arts Center, Minot State University, 500 University Avenue West, Minot, North Dakota 58707. Storage will not be returned.
